No. 4 Griffon Soccer set for MIAA Tournament Semifinals vs No. 8 Northeastern State in Wichita

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — No. 4 Griffon Soccer faces No. 8 seed Northeastern State in the MIAA Tournament Semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. in Wichita, Kansas, at the Stryker Sports Complex.

After MoWest advanced to the MIAA Semifinals by defeating No. 5 Northwest Missouri State in a 4–3 penalty kick shootout following a 1–1 draw in the 2025 MIAA Tournament Quarterfinals at Spratt Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 9, it will mark the second straight year the Griffons travel to the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita for the conference semifinals.

No. 8 Northeastern State advanced after upsetting No. 1 seed Pittsburg State, 3–2, in the opening round.

MoWest stands as the highest-seeded team remaining in the 2025 MIAA Women's Soccer Championship after a first round filled with upsets across the bracket.

The two semifinal winners will meet in the MIAA Tournament Championship, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Stryker Sports Complex.
