Griffon Soccer set for three-match week, opening at home before hitting the road

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Soccer gears up for a busy three-match week, beginning at home before heading out for two MIAA road contests.

MoWest opens the week on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m. inside Spratt Stadium for YWCA Domestic Violence Awareness Night, hosting Drury (7-2-4) in non-conference action. The Griffons (8-1-3, 4-1-2 MIAA) remain unbeaten at Spratt Stadium since 2024, entering the match with a 16-0-1 home record over that span.

Next up, the Griffons travel to Kansas on Friday, Oct. 24, for a 3 p.m. matchup against Pittsburg State (9-2-2, 4-1-2 MIAA) in a key MIAA showdown. Both teams are currently tied in the league standings, making this contest a crucial battle as the conference race tightens heading into the final weeks.

MoWest closes the week on Sunday, Oct. 26, with a 2 p.m. kickoff in Joplin against Missouri Southern (2-8-3, 0-5-2 MIAA). The Griffons will look to maintain their strong defensive presence and keep momentum rolling against a Lions squad still seeking its first conference victory.

Fans can watch all three matches live on the MIAA Network, with live stats available at GoGriffons.com.
