Griffon Soccer hosts Nebraska–Kearney and Fort Hays State in home weekend slate

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Soccer returns home for a big weekend at Spratt Stadium, hosting Nebraska–Kearney on Friday at 7:30 p.m. for Paint It Black Night and Fort Hays State on Sunday at 1 p.m. for St. Joseph Youth Soccer Day.

The Griffons (6-1-3, 2-1-2 MIAA) aim to rebound from a hard-fought 1-0 loss to No. 9 Central Missouri while protecting their unbeaten home mark, now 3-0-1 at Spratt Stadium this fall and 14-0-1 on their home turf since 2024.

Friday's opponent, Nebraska–Kearney (2-5-4, 0-2-4 MIAA), comes into the matchup following a stretch of tightly contested games this fall, while Sunday's opponent, Fort Hays State (3-7-1, 1-4-1 MIAA), aims to carry momentum from its latest victory into the weekend.

What's Next
Griffon Soccer will stay home on Wednesday, Oct. 22, to host Drury at 5 p.m. inside Spratt Stadium for YWCA Domestic Violence Awareness Night. The Griffons then hit the road for a two-match MIAA trip, visiting Pittsburg State on Friday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m., before heading to Missouri Southern on Sunday, Oct. 26, for a 2 p.m. kickoff in Joplin.
