ST. JOSEPH, MO. – Missouri Western State University tuned up for another appearance in the Great Lakes Valley Conference in high style Sunday, April 21.

Jessica Berg's team, giving their home crowd inside Spratt Memorial Stadium a regular season finale to remember, had seven student-athletes score goals during an 18-5 victory over William Jewell College. Topping the list was sophomore midfielder
Serah Ryals (Monument, Colo.). She registered her sixth match of the year with four-or-more goals, posting five, during the afternoon.
Junior midfielder
Sam Pruitt (Ellisville, Mo.), who has joined with her underclasswoman teammate to forge one of the league's top one-two offensive punches, added four scores including the game-winner that led the Gold and Black to the program's first double-digit victory slate. Freshman midfielder
Clare Sondrall (Golden Valley, Minn.), wrapping up a six-goal weekend, was next in line with three.
MWSU (10-6 overall, 4-3 GLVC) awaits the pairings for its second straight conference tournament appearance.
