ST. JOSEPH, MO. – A back and forth first half Great Lakes Valley Conference clash turned on a key second-half run by visiting University of Indianapolis Sunday, April 14.
 
Head coach Missouri Western State University Jessica Berg's squad gave the league-unbeaten Greyhounds all they could handle over the first two periods at Craig Field. Redshirt freshman midfielder Brooke Tjernlund (Hugo, Minn.) and junior midfielder Sam Pruitt (Ellisville, Mo.) forged the three Gold and Black goals towards a 5-3 halftime score.
 
From that point, the Greyhounds posted nine scores in the second half and held their hosts to two to wrap up a 14-5 decision. Pruitt and Tjernlund posted two goals apiece to guide the Griffons.
