Wiese, who's series line against host Pittsburg State University improved to .600 (six-for-10) with three RBI, a run scored, and two doubles to go with his round tripper, and Taggart joined junior shortstop

Damian Stambersky's crew to reach the five-or-more run mark for the 58
th straight outing. They also helped bring the Griffons back from a 5-0 deficit into a 5-5 tie after seven-and-a-half innings.
While the Gold and Black appeared poised for a split of the first two contests of the weekend MIAA swing at PSU's Al Ortolani Field, the Gorillas had other plans. A six-run eighth inning deluge spurred by five hits broke up the comeback and led the hosts to an 11-5 victory.
