Missouri Western and Kearney finish in 1-1 draw

KEARNEY, Neb. — Missouri Western and Nebraska Kearney played to a 1-1 draw Friday on the road at Ron & Carol Cope Stadium.

Missouri Western (3-3-3, 1-0-1 MIAA) broke the scoreless tie when Jaden Skinner recorded her fifth goal of the season in the 36th minute, assisted by Nicoletta Froehlich. The Lopers (1-7-1, 0-1-1) responded to tie things up on a goal from Ivana Siles in the 79th minute, assisted by Reagan Downes and Corynne Olsen. The 1-1 score held to the end of the game.

GAME NOTES

  • Keeley Kroonenberg totaled four saves for the Griffons out of 10 total Lopers shots. It was her first game back since Sept. 22
  • Missouri Western totaled four shots on goal.
