KEARNEY, Neb. — Missouri Western and Nebraska Kearney played to a 1-1 draw Friday on the road at Ron & Carol Cope Stadium.
Missouri Western (3-3-3, 1-0-1 MIAA) broke the scoreless tie when Jaden Skinner recorded her fifth goal of the season in the 36th minute, assisted by Nicoletta Froehlich. The Lopers (1-7-1, 0-1-1) responded to tie things up on a goal from Ivana Siles in the 79th minute, assisted by Reagan Downes and Corynne Olsen. The 1-1 score held to the end of the game.

- Keeley Kroonenberg totaled four saves for the Griffons out of 10 total Lopers shots. It was her first game back since Sept. 22

Missouri Western next plays Fort Hays State (6-1-2, 2-0 MIAA) on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hays, Kansas, at the FHSU Soccer Stadium. The Tigers are 5-0-2 at home and have won two in a row, most recently defeating Northwest Missouri State 1-0 on Friday night in Hays.
