LIBERTY, Mo. — Picking up Jacob Plocher's first win as the team's head coach, Missouri Western got goals from Jaden Skinner and Elisabeth Pujado in a 2-0 win against William Jewell on Sunday at Greene Stadium.
Missouri Western (1-2-1, 0-0 MIAA) started the scoring when Pujado recorded her first goal of the season in the 14th minute, assisted by Kendall Knisley.
The Griffons extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Skinner — her second goal of the season — in the 35th minute, assisted by Ella Gant. William Jewell (0-3, 0-0 GLVC) remained scoreless for the rest of the bout.

- Keeley Kroonenberg collected three saves for the Griffons out of three total Cardinals shots.
- This is Kroonenberg's seventh shutout as a Griffon, which is fourth all-time.
- Missouri Western pounded 11 shots on goal.
