EDMOND, Okla. — Missouri Western Tennis fell to Central Oklahoma on Saturday by a score of 5-2, snapping the Griffons' winning streak at four matches and bringing the Griffon's conference record to 3-1.
DOUBLES
Nicole Donnelly and
Anya Chavez fell in the No. 1 singles match to No. 4 Nikki Boyar and Blythe Buntrock 7-6. Pete Domada and Nefeli and Zafeire beat
Isabella MacGibbon and
Anais Peralta Criado in the No. 2 doubles match 7-6.
Lucia Casas Blas and
Ariella Curci won the No. 3 doubles match 7-6 over Tizia Brocks and Kryna Yurchencko 7-6.
SINGLES
Ranked at No. 60, Chavez beat Buntrock 6-3, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles match. Ranked No. 46, MacGibbon fell in three sets to Komada in the No. 2 singles match 7-6, 3-6, 6-2. Granero Boj fell to Zafeiri in the No. 3 singles match 6-2, 6-2, before Casas Blas fell to Boyar 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 4 match. Criado beat Brocks in the No. 5 singles match 7-5, 6-2, before Yurchenko beat
Nicole Donnelly 6-2, 2-6, 6-1.
