ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Head Coach Candi Whitaker has announced the full slate of Missouri Western Women's Basketball Camps for the summer of 2023.

On the heels of a 24-win regular season and a third place finish in the MIAA, Whitaker and staff are excited to another great camp experience for the St. Joseph  and surrounding community in the month of June.

Elite Camp — Date: June 4 — Time: 3-6 p.m. — Entering 9th-12th grades
Griffon Women's Basketball Elite Camp is designed to give student-athletes a glimpse into what it takes to be a collegiate basketball player at Missouri Western. Campers will be taught and coached by the current Missouri Western coaching staff and players with the goal of giving campers the tools to develop a fundamental foundation and grow as a more complete basketball player. Elite Camp will allow players to showcase their skills against other elite players and in front of the MWSU staff.  All campers will receive a T-shirt as well.

Little Griffs Camp — Dates: June 6-9 — Time: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. — Entering Kingergarten-4th Girls & Boys
Little Griffs Day Camp is designed for elementary age players (entering K-4^th grades) to learn from the Missouri Western Women's Basketball coaching staff and players. The goal is to give campers tools to grow as basketball players and equip them with fundamentals and drills to continue improving beyond camp. Camp highlights include being coached by current Griffon Women's Basketball players, fun games and competitions throughout camp, and camp concession stand. All campers will also receive a T-shirt and basketball to take home.

Junior High Camp — Dates: June 6-9 — Time: 1 p.m.-4 p.m. — Entering 5th-8th Girls & Boys
Junior High Camp is designed for middle school age players (entering 5^th-8^th grades) to learn from the Missouri Western Women's Basketball coaching staff and players. The goal is to build on their current foundation of fundamentals and provide opportunities to compete each day of camp. Campers will leave equipped with skills and drills to continue improving beyond camp. Camp highlights include being coached by current Griffon Women's Basketball players, fun games and competitions throughout camp, and camp concession stand. All campers will also receive a T-shirt and basketball to take home.

Team Camp — June 14-15 — 7 Game Guarantee — High School & Club teams
The Griffon Women's Basketball Team Camp is designed to give high school varsity and junior varsity programs the opportunity to compete against other programs from surrounding states. Teams will be matched up according to level of play as best as possible and will be guaranteed 7games. Griffon Women's Basketball players and coaching staff will be on site for the duration of the camp and housing and meals are available. All games will be played on campus in MWSU facilities. All players and coaches will receive a T-shirt. 
Cost: Dorms + Meals = $125/player
Meals only = $100/player
Commuter= $75/player
