Griffon Softball cruises through Alvy Early Memorial Classic

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — For the second day in a row, Griffon Softball swept their way through the Alvy Early Memorial Classic, beating both Illinois-Springfield and Arkansas Tech on Sunday at Memorial Park.

GAME 1
Missouri Western 6, Illinois-Springfield 1

Harley Pruetting went 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Sam Pederson went the distance in the circle, allowing one unearned run as the Griffons (4-3) rolled to a 6-1 win over Illinois-Springfield (1-3) to open Sunday's doubleheader.
