ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Griffon Women's Basketball is back from winter break and ready to take on Kansas Christian College this Saturday inside the MWSU Fieldhouse.

Griffon WBB (8-3, 4-2 MIAA) will once again hit the airwaves of KFEQ Radio, as fans can tune in with the "Voice of the Griffons" Tommy Rezac and MWSU Director of Athletic Communications Derek Zimmerman-Guyer on the call. The game will air on KFEQ - AM 680 and the
KFEQ Live Stream.

- Clarke surpassed 1,000 points in her Griffon career last time out vs. Washburn. She currently has 1,003.

The Falcons (0-12) are 0-10 on the road this season and have lost their last 13 overall games. A part of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), KCC went 14-10 in 2022-23. Shooting-wise, the Falcons are second to last in the NCCAA, holding a low clip of 26.5%. Kansas Christian also gives up 56.1 RPG, the most in the NCCAA.
Who to Watch
A bright spot for the Falcons with just seven players on the active roster, junior guard Laura Guillamat-Ribo is 11th in the NCCAA with 15.8 PPG. With 21 threes made, she is 11th in the league, and she is 12th with 2.3 treys made per contest. Letting it fly often, she is also accurate enough for 25th place in the NCCAA, hitting the mark 35% of the time. Her 21 steals rank 13th, and her 360 minutes played rank seventh. Senior guard Nickiah Metcalf is second on the team with 9.3 PPG and leads the team with 62 boards and 5.6 RPG.

Back in 2018, the Griffons tallied their own three-game winning streak thanks to a 73-54 win over Adams State. Returning from a knee injury, Melia Richardson nabbed a game-high 16 points, sinking 5-of-6 shots from the field and 6-of-7 free throws. Katrina Roenfeldt chipped in 13 points, swishing 3-of-8 takes from deep. Jessica Davis nearly had a double-double thanks to 11 points and eight rebounds, and Brittany Atkins scored 10 while playing off the bench.
