Box Score ST. JOSPEH, Mo. — The Griffons' (2-2-2) offense came alive as
Elisabeth Pujado put two past her former team to down Missouri Southern 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Spratt Stadium.
The first half saw both teams battle back and fourth as the Lions (0-5-0) out-shot the Griffons 8-5. Lions Head Coach Sade Boswell was assessed a yellow card for sideline interference.
The second half saw the scoreboard light up. Missouri Southern handled the ball in the box, and Pujado put the penalty away calmly past her former team. Four minutes later, Pujado made a run through the back line and
Sofia Zwick zipped a pass to put her new teammate through, who then slid it home past the keeper to make it 2-0.

- The Griffons out-shot the Lions 14-12, with 9 shots to 3 on goal.
- Keeper Keeley Kroonenberg had three more saves and recorded her fourth clean sheet in a row.
