ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Griffon Baseball battled and led Rogers State early on thanks to 10 hits, but the Hillcats used a five-run sixth inning to take the second game of the series 11-4.
Missouri Western found itself with a 1-0 lead in the second thanks to a
Zach Hanlan single that scored
Hunter Rumachik. Later on in the sixth in a 3-3 tie, a Rogers rally rocked starting pitcher
Jared Slater for five runs. Slater gave up six runs on the day overall but struck out six batters early.
