WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Griffon Soccer wrapped up their season with a first-round exit in the MIAA Tournament, falling to the No. 4 Jennies of Central Missouri, 2-0, at the South Recreation Complex.
The Griffons stuck with the number one-seeded Jennies in the first half, only being out-shot by one. The difference at the break was a goal by Madilyn Hamline, giving UCM a 1-0 lead at half.
The second half saw the Jennies pull away from the Griffons, tallying seven more shots that MWSU. Molly Ricker gave the Jennies a 2-0 lead in the 77th minute, and the game finished 2-0.

- The Jennies outshot the Griffons 15-7.
- Jaden Skinner and Sofia Zwick lead the Griffons with two shots each.
- Keeley Kroonenberg made four saves.
- Nine Griffons played 90 minutes, and Zwick played 84.

The Griffons finish the year 5-10-4, with a 3-6-2 record in conference. With a record over .500 at home at 3-2-4, as well as a four-game shutout streak were highpoints of the year. The season wrapped up with qualification for the MIAA playoffs for the third-straight year.
