EDMOND, Ok. — Griffon Volleyball fell to no. 18 Central Oklahoma on Friday night in Edmond by a score of three to one.
The Griffons (8-17, 5-12 MIAA) played the first set close, only falling by a score of 25-23, but could never get over the line, dropping the next two sets as well.
Danielle Moje led the Griffons with eight kills, and
Nessa Johnson had 24 assists.
SET ONE (25-23 Bronchos)
The Griffons battled back and forth with UCO (23-5, 13-5 MIAA), holding a lead for the majority of the set. The Bronchos took the lead at 23-22 to down the Griffons and take the set.
SET TWO (25-13 Bronchos)
The Bronchos used two four point runs to take a big lead in the set, and never looked back. The first came at 10-6 in favor of UCO, streching the lead to 14-6. The second was shortly after at 16-9 UCO, bringing the score to 20-9.
SET THREE (25-15 UCO)
The third set nearly mirrored the second set in terms of runs. The Broncos had three four point runs to win the set 25-15.

- Lily Kurz led the Griffons with four blocks.
- Moje's eight kills was good for first on the team, followed by Katherine White with five.
- Hailey Crane led the Griffons in digs with 16.
- Zari Montgomery finished with two aces.
- The Griffons are still in eighth place in the MIAA, with a half game advantage over Fort Hays State.
