Box Score MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Missouri Western Baseball rounded out their four-game series with Southern Arkansas on Sunday. The Griffons (1-6) tallied 13 hits and zero fielding errors, but Southern Arkansas (8-0)completed the sweep winning 12-9.

The Griffons started game four strong, amassing seven runs through the sixth inning to take a 7-4 lead. Unfortunately, in the eighth inning, the Muleriders' bats woke up, scoring eight runs in the next two innings to take the lead and win the contest.

Brian Tan took Sunday's loss for the Griffons from the mound. Although Tan struck out eight batters, the Junior gave up seven hits and allowed seven runs, including a home run in the seventh inning. Tan also was also the only pitcher who recorded strikeouts for the Griffons during Sunday's action.

- The Griffons tallied nine runs from thirteen hits. Ben Tsui tallied three of those hits, including a solo home run in the fourth while he drove in three RBI's on the day.
- Josh Robinson accounted for three runs and two hits for Missouri Western in game four. Robinson led the series for the Griffons in runs as he tallied eight.
- Andrew Meier had five put outs while playing first base in game four. Meier also led the team in hits for the series with 13.
- Colby Tam also recorded five assists from the field at second base.
