EDMOND, Okla. – Griffon Men's Basketball (10-11, 6-4) never trailed, Thursday, at Central Oklahoma (7-14, 4-8) to win its third consecutive game, 83-74.
 
Missouri Western jumped out to a 5-0 lead and went 9 of 15 from 3-point range in the first half and 12 of 27 on the night. UCO went on several runs in the second half to cut the Griffon lead to single digits, but every time the Griffons answered the bell. The Griffons led by 15 with four minutes remaining, their biggest lead of the game.

• With nine games remaining in the regular season, the Griffons matched their MIAA win total from last season.
• Missouri Western won the rebounding battle for the third consecutive game, 39-38.
• Five Griffons scored in double-figures.
• The Griffons scored at least 79 points for a third consecutive game.
• Will Eames led MWSU with 19 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. He was 7 of 11 from the field and 3 of 4 from 3-point range.
• Tyrell Carroll ended the game with 17 points and six assists.
• Tyus Millhollin scored 13 points with a team-high three steals.
• JaRon Thames was 4 of 8 from the field and scored 12 points.
• Reese Glover ended with 10 points, going 3 of 6 from 3-point range.

 
UP NEXT
Missouri Western goes up the road, Saturday, to take on Newman (8-13, 2-10) on Saturday. The Jets lost 98-69 at home to Northwest Missouri State, Thursday night.
