THIS WEEK IN GRIFFON MEN'S BASKETBALL
Saturday, Jan. 18, 1:30 p.m. at No. 2 Northwest
Â
ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western Men's Basketball features one important matchup this week as the Griffons (7-10, 3-3 MIAA) travel to Maryville to take on the second-best team in the country in Northwest (15-1, 5-1 MIAA).
Â
The Griffons look to bounce back after two road losses at Washburn and Emporia State. With the game against Northwest on the horizon, the Griffons hope to create some Maryville magic from the last time MWSU travelled to NWMSU. That matchup featured the Griffs being a shot away from stunning the nationally ranked Bearcats last February.
