ST. JOSEPH – Griffon Volleyball (6-4) opened the home portion of its schedule with a four set loss to No. 12 Central Missouri (6-3).

Missouri Western faced its third straight ranked opponent. After dropping the first 25-18, MWSU controlled the second, 25-21. UCM took a 2-1 lead in the match with a .423 hitting percentage in the fourth, 25-11, and took a late lead to claim the fourth and final set, 25-21.
