ST. JOSEPH – With two games left on the regular season schedule, Missouri Western (12-14, 7-10 MIAA) aims to punch its ticket to the MIAA Basketball Championships in Kansas City.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Regardless of the winner, a losing streak will end on Tuesday. Northwest Missouri is in the midst of a nine-game losing skid while the Griffons have lost a season-high three straight.
- Katrina Roenfeldt is only 13 points behind Lincoln's Zhanesha Dickerson for the most points scored in the MIAA. Roenfeldt also needs just two made three's for the most three pointers in the last 20 seasons at Missouri Western.
- Saturday's matchup with Washburn will feature two defenses that force a multitude of turnovers. Both teams force over 17 per game and are in the MIAA's top four in turnover margin.
- The Griffons will hope for Melia Richardson to continue her elevated scoring production. The senior has averaged 13 points per game over her last five games.

- The Griffons limit their opponents to 65 points per game.
- Roenfeldt leads the team with over 16 points and 5 rebounds per game.

SCOUTING NORTHWEST MISSOURI
- Kendey Eaton and Jaelyn Haggard both lead the Northwest Missouri offense with 12 points per game each.
- Eaton is shooting an impressive 93 percent from the free-throw line this season, the only player in the MIAA over 90 percent.
- The Bearcats struggle in rebounding, with opponents outrebounding them by over nine boards per game.
- Coaching in his first season as head coach at Northwest Missouri is Austin Meyer. Meyer, a former member of the Bearcat men's team, previously coached as an assistant for the Northwest Missouri men's team for 10 seasons.

- Three different players average at least 11 points for Washburn.
