ST. JOSEPH – After wrapping up its home schedule last week, Missouri Western Women's Basketball (12-12, 7-8 MIAA) will play its four remaining games on the road, beginning with a pair of rematches at Southwest Baptist and Central Missouri.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- With just four games left in the regular season, Missouri Western currently sits in eighth place in the MIAA standings. Depending on the result of other MIAA league games, the Griffons could clinch a spot in the MIAA Championships with a win on Thursday.
- Missouri Western will look to duplicate its second-half offensive success from last week's matchup with Southwest Baptist, when the Griffons put up 50 points in the second half after scoring just 28 in the first.
- Katrina Roenfeldt is in the midst one of the best offensive stretches of her career. The junior guard is averaging nearly 24 points per game over her last six games.
- The Griffons will have the chance to avenge last week's home loss to Central Missouri. The Griffons managed to trail by just three points in the fourth quarter, but fell to the defending national champions.
- One key for the Griffons against Central Missouri will be to keep it a low-scoring game. The Jennies are 14-1 in games when they have scored at least 70 points, compared to 4-4 when they are held below 70.
