ST. JOSEPH – Griffon Soccer hits the road this week as they head to Wichita Oct. 25 to take on the Newman Jets, and on Oct. 27 they travel to Edmond, Oklahoma to take on the Bronchos from Central Oklahoma.
 
The Griffons hope to bounce back into the win column as they have dropped three of the last four games in the last two weeks.
 
PREVIEWING THE GRIFFONS
 

• Missouri Western ranks fifth in the MIAA in average shots per game with a rate of 15.29.
• The Griffons also rank eighth in the conference in average shots on goal per game with a rate of 5.93.

SCOUTING CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
 

• The Bronchos lead the MIAA in average shots and shots on goal per game.
• Central Oklahoma averages three goals per game, setting them as the highest scorers in the conference.
• Asha Haile ranks fourth in the league in average shots per game with a rate of 3.71. Haile also ranks fourth in the conference in average assists per game with a rate of 1.86.
• Kelsie Eason ranks third in the MIAA in average goals per game with a rate of .750.
