EDMOND, Okla. – Central Oklahoma (15-6, 7-4) held off Griffon Volleyball (10-7, 4-5) in the first set and then cruised to a three set win over Missouri Western, Friday night.

The Bronchos hit .360 in the match, with a .429 percentage in the second and a .500 hitting percentage in the third to take the sets 25-20, -14 and -13.

NOTABLES
- The Griffons used a 6-1 run in the firs to pull within a point of the Bronchos, 12-11.
- UCO led the first 22-16, but the Griffons got it to 22-19 before falling 25-20.
- MWSU kept the second close, early, but a 7-1 UCO run gave the Bronchos a 12-6 lead. UCO went on to outscore the Griffs 13-8 the rest of the way.
- The Griffs jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the third and stayed close until the Bronchos ended the set and the match with a 19-5 run.
- MWSU did not have a service ace in the match and has one through the past three matches after averaging almost one per set through the first 14 matches.
- Maryssa Recio had a team-high nine kills.
- Ali Tauchen had eight kills on .467 hitting. Allie Kerns had seven kills and Danielle Moje had five.
- Lauren Murphy had 30 assists and needs 37 more to pass Jordan Chohon for fourth all-time at Missouri Western.
