ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Griffon basketball (6-20) fell to Lindenwood (16-12) 88-70 at Robert Hyland Arena in the final regular season game of the season. MWSU snapped its three-game streak of scoring at least 80 points.

Cole Clearman went a perfect 4-for-4 from the three-point line in his final regular season game at Missouri Western. Clearman and
Lavon Hightower connected on seven of MWSU's 10 three-pointers. Lindenwood shot 63.5 percent from the field and 64.7 percent from the three-point arc. The Lions forced the Griffons into 14 turnovers.

The official MIAA Tournament bracket will be released later but Missouri Western is projected as the 12
th seed. MWSU is expected to travel to Warrensburg, Missouri to play at Central Missouri. The Griffons finished in a three-way tie for the final spot but won the tiebreaker because of wins in the regular season over Emporia State and Northeastern State.
