ST. JOSEPH – Griffon men's basketball travels to Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon for the final game of the regular season.
Missouri Western is coming off one of its most complete performances of the season with Thursday's 82-73 win at Lincoln University. The Griffons scored a season-best 82 points and shot 52 percent from the field and three-point line. 42 of the team's 82 points came off the bench.
A MWSU win against Lindenwood would clinch the final spot in the conference tournament. The Griffons win on Thursday evening also put them in a three-way tie with Emporia State and Northeastern State for the final spot in the MIAA Tournament. Missouri Western beat both teams and will own any tiebreaker if needed.
