ST. JOSEPH –Griffon men's basketball heads to Lincoln University on Thursday evening and starts its final road trip of the season.
 
Missouri Western is looking for back-to-back road wins. The last time MWSU was on the road, it defeated Emporia State 65-61 on Feb. 10. The road win would also be key for the Griffons in the race for the MIAA Tournament.
 
Missouri Western is currently tied with Northeastern State as both trail Emporia State by a game for last spot in the conference tournament. Missouri Western's postseason chances greatly improve with a win on Thursday evening because it owns any tiebreakers against NSU and ESU.
