ST. JOSEPH - The final week of home basketball in the MWSU Fieldhouse this season begins Wednesday when the Griffon women host Missouri Southern. 

Missouri Western and Missouri Southern will meet again after a 76-64 win for the Lions on Jan. 6 in Joplin. The Griffons are in position to make the MIAA tournament, currently sitting in the final qualifying spot just one game back of Lindenwood and Northeastern State. Missouri Southern is tied with Southwest Baptist for eighth in the MIAA standings. 

Wednesday's game will feature several promotions including Pink Night for the Griffon women. The women's team will again wear their pink uniforms and Griffon Athletics representatives will present a check to Mosaic Life Care for funds raised during Pink Week at Missouri Western.
