ST. JOSEPH – It is the final week of home games for Griffon basketball beginning Wednesday evening when Missouri Southern comes to the MWSU Fieldhouse.
MWSU and MSSU meet for the second time this season after the Lions squeaked out a win 72-66 on Jan. 6 in Joplin. A win for Missouri Western can greatly improve its chances for the MIAA Tournament. The Griffons are currently in a three-way tie for the final spot in the tournament and a win would give them a one game lead in the standings.
