Lindenwood Notes
ST. JOSEPH - One team will walk out of the MWSU Fieldhouse victorious for the first time in its last eight games Thursday night when the Missouri Western women's basketball team hosts Lindenwood.
The Griffons return to campus after three-straight games on the road and having lost their last seven games. Lindenwood also comes to St. Joseph on a seven-game skid after close losses at Fort Hays State and Nebraska Kearney last week. The game comes with postseason implications as the Griffons currently sit a game and a half ahead of Lindenwood in the MIAA standings. Missouri Western is currently in 11th place with the top-12 teams advancing to the MIAA Championships. Lindenwood is looking to maintain its one-game lead over Northwest Missouri, which hosts 0-12 Lincoln Thursday night.
