ST. JOSEPH – Griffon men's basketball plays its first home game of 2018 on Saturday. Missouri Western's game originally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 11 against Southwest Baptist was moved to Monday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. due to inclement weather.
 
MWSU fell to Central Missouri 67-51 in the first meeting of the season on Dec. 14. The Griffons led early in the game but Central Missouri used a run midway through the first half to pull away and never trail again. The Griffons would cut the lead to single digits with two left in the game before the Mules pulled away at the finish.
