HAYS, Kan. – Griffon men's golf finished the Tiger Classic in fifth place with a three round total of 905. Freshmen Patrick McCarthy and Kevin Kim both added top-10 finishes for Missouri Western

McCarthy shot a 5-over-par 217 and finished in fifth place for his third top-five finish in the last four tournaments. Kim fired his season-best 219 to end in eighth place, his best finish as a Griffon. Cole Roberts recorded a 229 as Jacob Majeske carded a 240. Lucas Horseman rounded out the MWSU scoring with a 248.

Alex Springer for Central Missouri won the individual title with a 2-under-par 208 as the Mules won the team championship with an 852. Missouri Western is in action next at the MIAA Championships on April 24-26 at Sycamore Ridge Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri.
