ST. CHARLES, Mo. – A one out double in the bottom of the ninth ended Griffon Baseball's chances of taking a 2-0 lead in a series at Lindenwood (17-14, 10-9).
Missouri Western (15-14, 12-7) led 2-0 after three innings, but gave up three unanswered runs Saturday in St. Charles.

- Richard Peoples got the leadoff hitter out in the ninth and was replaced by Kellan Richards after giving up a single to the next batter. Richards surrendered the walk-off double to the first batter he faced.
- For the eighth-straight game, Peoples went seven innings or more, pitching 8 1/3, allowing 10 hits and three runs
- Missouri Western had six hits in the game and left seven runners on base
- David Glaude hit two doubles in the game to move three away from Spencer Shockley's career record of 48
