ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Griffon baseball (15-15, 12-8) fell at Lindenwood (18-14, 11-9) 6-5 in the series finale.
NOTABLES
- Missouri Western took an early one run lead on Ryan Smith's single to left field that scored Bailey Zimmer
- After adding a run in the fourth inning, MWSU added three more runs on five hits in the fifth inning to take a 5-0 advantage
- Lindenwood added runs in the fifth and sixth innings to cut the lead down to three before scoring three runs in seventh inning to tie the game
- The Lions would get a leadoff double to start the eighth inning and scored the go ahead run on the next play
