ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Griffon baseball won the first game of the series at Lindenwood, 6-2.
David Glaude continues to add to the record books as he blasted his 25
th career home run, which broke Missouri Western's 34-year-old record, with a ninth inning shot.

- MWSU carried a 4-0 lead into the seventh inning behind a second inning home run and fourth inning sac fly from Jeremy Alvarado
- Lindenwood made things interesting, late, by cutting the lead down to two with a run in the seventh and eighth inning
