Glaude Adds to History Book, Griffons Tame Lions

Glaude became MWSU's Career home run leader in 6-2 win


ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Griffon baseball won the first game of the series at Lindenwood, 6-2. David Glaude continues to add to the record books as he blasted his 25th career home run, which broke Missouri Western's 34-year-old record, with a ninth inning shot.

NOTABLES
  • MWSU carried a 4-0 lead into the seventh inning behind a second inning home run and fourth inning sac fly from Jeremy Alvarado
  • Lindenwood made things interesting, late, by cutting the lead down to two with a run in the seventh and eighth inning
  • Glaude's ninth inning shot allowed the Griffons to answer back and provided a four run cushion
  • For the 13th time this season, Missouri Western outhit the opponent in a win
  • MWSU pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts, tying the second highest total this season
