ST. JOSEPH – In search of its first road win of the 2015-16 season, the Missouri Western men's basketball team travels to Topeka, Kansas to take on Washburn this Wednesday.
 
Missouri Western has won two of its last three games and is coming off a 66-60 loss to Northwest Missouri State in the final game of a three-game homestand. Washburn has dropped its last two games, both coming on an Oklahoma road swing last week. The Ichobods fell 98-92 in overtime at Central Oklahoma on Jan. 9.
 
THE SERIES
Washburn has taken the last three in the series and leads all-time 50-35. Lee Arena has proven a difficult road trip for the Griffons, winning just 10 games in 31 trips.
 
THE COACHES
Brett Weiberg is in his third season at Missouri Western and tenth as a head coach overall. He is 27-43 in his time at Missouri Western and 166-148 overall. Prior to becoming the head coach at Missouri Western, Weiberg spent seven seasons as head coach at Northern Oklahoma College.
Bob Chipman is in his 37^th season as head coach at Washburn. Chipman is the MIAA all-time wins leader with 540 victories since the Ichabods joined the conference.
 
MISSOURI WESTERN

• The Griffons have won two of their last three games, both wins coming over the same teams that handed Washburn its last two losses (Northeastern State and Central Oklahoma)
