ST. JOSEPH – Griffon Volleyball will look for its second-straight road win and a historic victory, Friday, when the team travels to Warrensburg to take on No. 11 Central Missouri. Saturday, the team will be back in the Fieldhouse to host Lindenwood.
 
The Griffons are coming off their first road win of the 2015 campaign, a 3-1 victory at Northwest Missouri State on Tuesday night and are looking for their first win over Central Missouri since 2005. Missouri Western enters Friday in a tie for third place with Central Missouri in the MIAA standings. Both teams are 4-1 in league play and sit a half game behind No. 12 Washburn and a game and a half behind first place, No. 13 Central Oklahoma. Both teams have lost to Central Oklahoma this year. UCM fell 3-1 in Edmond on Sept. 25 and MWSU lost 3-0 to the Bronchos on Oct. 2.
