ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -
The Griffon Men travel to Lincoln Thursday looking to win three straight MIAA road games for the first time since 2003. The team's come from behind wins at Nebraska-Kearney and Southwest Baptist gave MWSU back-to-back conference road wins for the first time since the 2012-13 season. Missouri Western takes a three-game win streak over Lincoln into Thursday night's game.

THE GRIFFONS
Missouri Western plays just its fourth road game of the month when they travel to Jefferson City to take on Lincoln. The Griffons are coming off a 12-point loss at home to Missouri Southern on Jan. 24. Missouri Southern erased a six-point MWSU halftime lead with a 17-0 run to open the second half.

Cortrez Colbert continues to lead the team with 14.8 points per game. Kevin Thomas and Cole Clearman each average more than eight per game. Clearman leads the team with 31 made three-pointers on the year and Thomas' 5.2 rebounds per game are tops on the team. Colbert adds 1.7 steals and two assists per game.

Missouri Western is allowing just 68.6 points per game but average 68.2 themselves. The Griffons are shooting 43 percent from the field, 35 percent from long-range and 66 percent at the free throw line.

LINCOLN BLUE TIGERS
Lincoln enters Thursday's game on a nine-game losing streak after winning their MIAA opener at Northeastern State. They are led by Joshua Buie's 16.6 points per game. He's one of three Blue Tigers averaging double-digits, with Mike Smith scoring 13.2 and Victor Scott adding 10.6. Zach Schraeder is Lincoln's top rebounder, averaging 4.6 per game.

As a team, Lincoln is being outscored by nearly 12 points per game, scoring 63 points while allowing 75. They shoot 43 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range and 71 percent at the charity stripe. Opponents are also forcing four more turnovers per game than Lincoln.
