ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - In a something's got to give battle, Missouri Western Men's Basketball hosts Central Oklahoma Saturday in the fieldhouse. The Griffons have yet to lose at home this season, posting a 5-0 record in the fieldhouse. The Bronchos are perfect in MIAA play coming off an upset win at No. 3 Central Missouri on Thursday. It's the Griffons last game of 2014 and last home game until Jan. 8.
THE GRIFFONSMissouri Western climbed back over .500 and evened its MIAA record with an 83-78 overtime win over Northeastern State on Thursday night. It was the Griffons first overtime game since defeating No. 15 Fort Hays last December.
Cortrez Colbert led the team Thursday with 25 points and is now averaging 11. 4 points per game to lead active players. Freshman
Currie Byrd climbed into the team leadin in rebounds at 5.2 per game after pulling down six boards against the RiverHawks.
As a team, Missouri Western is outscoring opponents 73-69 while shooting 44 percent from the field, 34 percent from behind the arc and 64 percent at the foul line.

on loss since January. The 72-57 win snapped the Mules 16-game winning streak and a 33-game undefeated run in Warrensburg.
Central Oklhoma shoots 51 percent from the field, outscoring opponents by more than 15 points per game. Mahion Jones leads
the team with 15.5 points per game and is one of four Bronchos averaging double figures.

Ryan Devers scored 15 points and also dished out four assist in the game. The Bronchos dominated the points in the paint scoring 46 to the Griffons 22 and had 18 second chance points to MWSU's six.
