The freshman from Des Moines picked up three of the Griffons five victories in Bentonville, Ark. Smith pitched 15.2 innings with two starts and one complete game. Smith went 3-0 giving up 16 hits, seven earned runs while striking out nine. She improves to 4-0 during her freshman season. Smith also hit .500 with three hits in six at bats. She scored two runs had one double and walked once.
