Missouri Western State University Athletics

Devon Schmitz began her graduate assistant position with Missouri Western in the fall of 2018.

Prior to coming to MWSU, Schmitz completed her undergraduate with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. While at Washburn, Schmitz worked with Washburn football, volleyball, softball, women’s soccer, and baseball. She also completed rotations at Topeka High School, ARC Physical Therapy, and Frito Lay industrial site in Topeka. Following graduation, Schmitz also worked as an athletic trainer and assistant soccer coach at the Berkshire Soccer Academy in East Otis, Massachusetts.

Devon Schmitz will be pursuing her Masters in Sports and Fitness Management at Missouri Western.
