Missouri Western State University Athletics

Ashley Stephens joined the Sports Medicine staff in July 2022 and was promoted to Associate Athletic Trainer in February 2025. Her primary sports include lacrosse, tennis and volleyball.

A graduate of Truman State with a master's in athletic training, she has a wealth of experience in the field. Prior to joining Missouri Western, she served as the head athletic trainer at Advance Physical Therapy in Hannibal from 2020 to 2022.

The Kirksville, Missouri, native is also certified in Dry Needling, BOC, CPR, AED and first aid. Additionally, she is a member of NATA.
