Corey Bertini enters his first season as Graduate Assistant for Sports Performance. Bertini will assist Director of Sports Performance, Greg Carbin, in the Griffon Strength and Conditioning program.

Bertini comes into this new role already familiar with Coach Greg Carbin’s program, as he spent the last two seasons on the Griffon football team after transferring from Iowa Central Community College.

Bertini played in nine games as a senior, completing 26-of-45 passes for 256 yards with one touchdown. He also had 45 rushes for 188 yards and a touchdown. He appeared in seven games in his junior season, starting the final two games for the Griffons. His best game of his junior season came against Washburn, as he completed 14 of 28 passes for 181 yards.

Bertini was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll in 2017.
