Missouri Western State University Athletics

Blaine Wessels began his graduate assistant position with Missouri Western in the spring of 2018.  The summer of 2018 he accepted a full time position with Mosaic Life Care, and will be working full time with Missouri Western Men’s Basketball.  

Blaine graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Iowa State University in the spring of 2017.  He is pursuing a Masters in Sports and Fitness Management at Missouri Western.

Prior to coming to MWSU, Wessels worked with Iowa State football, Iowa State cross-country, Iowa State gymnastics, and Ames High School in Ames, Iowa.  After graduation Blaine was an athletic trainer for Athletico Physical Therapy. While with Athletico Blaine worked with Forest City High School and Mason City Mohawks Hockey.
