Kendall Spray joined Missouri Western State University's women's basketball coaching staff as the top assistant in May 2024.
"I am thrilled to be adding Kendall," head coach Ashton Feldhaus noted. "Her passion for the game and commitment to player development will be a great asset to our program. She has a wealth of experience both playing and coaching at the NCAA Division I level."
A native of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Spray finished her playing career as one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in collegiate history. She was named FGCU's director of operations in August 2022. Spray competed for the Eagles in the 2021-22 season after stints at UT Martin (2016-18) and Clemson (2018-21), helping lead the Green and Blue to a 30-3 record in her final college season, which included ASUN regular season and tournament championships, as well as a first-round win over No. 5 Virginia Tech in the NCAA Tournament.
Spray concluded her collegiate career ranked fourth all-time in NCAA history with 466 made three-pointers en route to 1,900 career points over 154 games between three stops. She earned a bachelor's degree in health science and a master's in human resources development from Clemson and then attained a graduate certificate in entrepreneurship from FGCU.
"Kendall brings a winning mentality having known nothing but success since her time on staff at FGCU," Feldhaus said. "She has great energy and will work tirelessly to make sure she uplifts our student-athletes. I know she will be a great addition and help us continue our winning tradition with her infectious energy."
