Outlook: A player that can be put anywhere on defense and be successful...is very versatile and talented...is consistent at the plate and on defense...is a great kid and comes from a great family.

2014 season: Played in 12 games with two at bats and three runs scored...stole one base...pitched in two games...pitched three innings giving up one hit, one walk with one strikeout.

High School: Taylor Schaben is a 5-6 utility player from Portsmouth, Iowa...she played at Harlan Community High School where she was coached by Toshia Karpenbauer and Kent Klinkenfus...had a very decorated career earning First Team All-Area, All-Conference, All-State...was All-Area Player of the Year...2013 Daily Non-Pariel All-Southwest Iowa Player of the Year batting .473...First Team All-District and All-Conference honors as a junior...was also named Second Team All-State and First Team All-Area as a junior...as a freshman she was First Team All-Area and Second Team-All Conference...as a junior she hit .402 with 11, doubles, three triples, 30 RBI's and six home runs...in her career she had a batting average of .360...is also a solid student being in the National Honor Society.

Personal: She is the daughter of Gary and Jackie Schaben and has an older sister Brooke who is on the Griffon softball team...she plans on majoring in mathematics...favorite food is cheesy potatoes...favorite candy is peanut butter m&m's...favorite professional sports team is the St. Louis Cardinals...favorite video game is Mario Kart...her dad has had the greatest influence on her life...favorite dessert is brownies...favorite cereal is raisin bran crunch...favorite television show is "Friends"...reason she came to Missouri Western is because of the facilities, coaches and not to far from home.
