BEFORE MWSU
First achieved a bachelor's degrees in athletic training and natural sciences with an emphasis in biology from Bethel in May of 2015, Powers went on to record her master's degree in exercise science just two years later at Concordia-St. Paul in June of 2017.
Prior to Powers' arrival at MWSU, she first started in NCAA Division II as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for William Jewell in 2015, working with programs such as Cardinal football, softball and volleyball. Powers eventually became an assistant athletic trainer for the Cardinals, heading up responsibilities for women's soccer, men's and women's swimming and softball until 2018. Next up on Powers' career recap is Bethel College, where she gained experience as an associate athletic trainer from August of 2018 to this June, tending to sports such as football, women's basketball, track & field and women's flag football.Â
