Travis Anderson begins his second season with the Griffon Football staff in 2018 after serving as a graduate assistant, working with tight ends in 2017.

Prior to becoming a graduate assistant, Anderson signed a rookie camp deal with the Kansas City Chiefs after finishing colligate career at Missouri Western.

As a player at MWSU, Anderson made 40 starts, was a two-time Don Hansen All-American honorable mention, three-time All-Region selection and three-time All-MIAA selection. He anchored an offensive line that had running backs go over 1,000 yards all four of his seasons. His senior season, the Griffons averaged 457.5 yards of total offense per game. Anderson was also selected as the Missouri Western Student-Athlete of the Year for 2016-17.

Anderson received his bachelor's degree from Missouri Western and will be pursuing a master's degree from MWSU in Sport and Recreation Management. He is a native of Derby, Kansas.Â
