Biography

Outlook: Will look to step in and fight for playing time at the catcher position...is a very talented catcher who plays good defense and hits well...has a great attitude and will work very hard to improve her game... will need to work hard to become a more vocal leader on the field.

2011 season: Started all 54 games she played in, batting .236.

2010 season: Played in 25 games with 22 starts...had a .250 batting average with 16 hits...had three doubles and one homerun...had eight RBI and scored six runs...went 1-for-1 in stolen bases...had a 1.000 fielding percentage behind the plate with 88 putouts and eight assists.

2009 season: Leah played in 10 games for the Griffons... had nine at bats and had two hits... had one RBI and two total bases... recorded three put outs on defense and was a perfect 1.000.

High School: Played her high school softball at Lee's Summit high school...was a 1st team All-Conference performer in the Suburban Big 6 conference..1st team All-Region selection...1st team All-District.

Personal: Daughter of Bill and Cindy...majoring in accounting...favorite food is anything in the cafeteria during the lunch hour, but mostly steak and baked potatos...dream vacation spot is Ireland or Greece... favorite candy is Reeses...favorite professional sports team is the Denver Broncos...favorite collegiate sports team is the NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS...favorite video game is Guitar Hero...listens to country and rap music...role model growing up was her mom...favorite dessert is peach cobbler (also like team mate Allison Jones)...favorite television show is Wipeout!... dream job is an FBI Agent (as long as she doesn't have to get tazered).
