ABOUT GRIFFON ATHLETIC BANDS

Griffon Athletic Bands was established in 2025 as a new unit of Griffon Athletics. The program has been established to provide entertainment, hype, and a fun inclusive experience through high-energy music that connects with MoWest students, fans, and the St. Joseph community. Griffon Athletic Bands performs at various Griffon Athletics home games including football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer, as well as, campus and community events and parades.

Griffon Athletic Bands is not structured as a traditional academic music ensemble, but centered around inclusivity, participation, school spirit, and performance that enhances game day experience. Griffon Athletic Bands is designed to be accessible for all MoWest students, regardless of their major or academic concentration. Griffon Athletic Bands also welcomes MoWest alumni and community members to participate in performances.
